Sanya - China's southernmost city. Tropical climate, sunny, beaches, fresh air, fresh fruits, sea food, vacation land.

I was there in January, 2008. 2008 was a year to be remembered because of World Economics problem starts at that year. When I was in Shanghai, I saw many stores were doing closing sales. But, in this beautiful place, people just go there to escape the cold winter. I met most Chinese seniors or retirees from Northeastern China region 东北. They suggested me to rent an apartment than staying in hotel.
Barbara's university classmate bought a beautiful unit in a private zone. The landscape is too good to be true with a curved shape pool. We had visited a few times. We also dinned together in the above restaurant a few times. The most delightful dish is 垛椒鱼头.
I have been to all 3 famous beaches. I believe 亚龙湾 is the best. It is just like swim in Hawaii, Caribbean. I have seen so many foreigners, most of them are from Russia (eastern region), Mongolian,  Korean, Japanese, etc.
We had one dinner in 大东海, see photo with live fishes. At that night, they offered live shrimp for RMB 5 per 500 grams. The live fish is extremely pricey, one 鲳鱼 RMB 280.
Hainan is also a fruit rich place, I have plenty coconuts. See my photos.
When I visited there, the price was still affordable, not like later days the price goes up just like jet plane.
