Vladivostok 海参威

Vladivostok

Vladivostok (Russian: Владивосто́к ) is Russia's largest port city on the Pacific Ocean and the administrative center of Primorsky Krai. It is situated at the head of the Golden Horn Bay, not far from Russia's border with China and North Korea. It is the home port of the Russian Pacific Fleet. The population of the city, as of 2010, is 578,000.
The city's economy was given a boost in 1903, with the completion of the Trans-Siberian Railway which connected Vladivostok to Moscow and Europe. The train station is beautiful. There isn’t any English sign. Ticket agent cannot speak English. If you do not speak or read Russian, you cannot take a train ride to Moscow. The distance is close to 10,000 KM.
The girls are beautiful, long legs with high heel shoes or boots. Since it is a marine harbour, it is not hard to find out beautiful street ladies. The harbour terminal is very friendly, they distribute English map to us. I did search on the web for English map and could not find one.

A beautiful harbour city. 2012 APEC was held here. I have been to Russian's 2 navy harbours - Vladivostok & St. Petersburg. I have seen the movie "The King and I". The leading actor, Yul Brynner,  was born in this city. I have walked to the place. The place is a government building now.
