St John's, Newfoundland, Canada

St John's is the capital and largest city in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is considered by some to be the oldest English-founded city in North America. The population is 211724 as of 2014, it is the 2nd largest Metropolitan area in Atlantic Canada after Halifax.  Its name has been attributed to the feast day of John the Baptist

Regal Princess docked right in downtown area, it is so convenient for us to visit the city. Roads can be flat or steep. Houses might be painted colourfully. I shot pictures before entering the harbour and sail off the harbour. The scenery of this harbour is very beautiful. No wonder National Geographic Magazine put it as one of the top ten Oceanside destinations.
