It is on the south of Dunhuang, about 4 hours away by bus. It is the farther west of the Great Wall. It used to be the starting point of Silk Road as merchants leave the gate to the west.
2012-12-12 What a day to upload restored photos from www.multiply.com site. When I look at those pictures, they are so memorable. The place is in the desert, very dry. Thanks God, I could get there in 2006.
