苏州 Suzhou, my first visit was in 2001. It wasn't that organized and clean. I felt very hot and dusty, very humid. I was sick because I had to turn on air-cond in low temp for the whole night.
Today, Suzhou has new Suzhou north train station and Suzhou train station. I came to Suzhou train station by CRH from Wuhan. The station is very large, it can take high speed trains and also regular trains such as slowest, faster trains.

At train exit, there are people who stood there trying to get you to take their non-public taxi or dark side tours. Taxi is on the ground floor but we did not know that so we just got to the ground. But, we could take old city wall pictures. Later, we walked down one level and go for taxi. The people they do not line up and just run for the cars. The person in charge did not do his job, this is kind common in smaller cities.
Our hotel is not far away, it is close to UNESCO heritage site Lingering Garden 留园.

After dinner, we decided to go to walking street and a tourist site 玄妙观，a taoist temple. The wooden temple was built in Sung 宋朝。
