Dunedin is in the south of Christchurch. The city area is pretty crowded with pretty ocean bay. There are many surfers in the beach area. There is also a famous university town - University of Otago, it has the only medical school in the south island. Otago University looks like University of Glasgow in Scotland.
The train station is very beautiful and classic, the building itself looks like an art gallery. We stayed in a travelers park near the ocean. Every unit has its own bath and kitchen. For the trailers, there is a big public kitchen and bath.
The peninsular area is very beautiful. It is worth a trip to visit there.
